Another postdoc position at Cornell

The Joo research group in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to work on the development of multi-functional, mesoporous nanofibers for water membrane applications. We would appreciate it if you could notify interested personnel in your group.

This experimenter position will be to apply multi-functional nanofibers with hierarchical nanostructures to various applications including reverse osmosis membranes. The project is funded by a startup company for two years.

Highly motivated candidates with strong backgrounds on membrane separation will be considered. Applicants are expected to have experience or familiarity with fabrication of water treatment membranes, and any additional experiences in water purification and membrane design will be a plus. The start date is flexible, but the position is immediately available from July 1, 2012.
